Anthony J. "Tony" Runco, 55 of Punxsutawney, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home.

He was born on March 4, 1962 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Dominic and Colomba (Perfili) Runco.

Tony was a member of the Ss. Cosmas & Damian Church and the Lindsey Volunteer Fire Company. He was the proud former owner of Tony's Auto Sales in Rochester Mills. He loved music and was the drummer in his band.

He is survived by his loving wife Renee M. (Pasi) Runco of Punxsutawney, one son; Nicholas A. Runco of Punxsutawney, one brother; Dominic Runco Jr. (Nancy) of Punxsutawney, two sisters; Laura Wood of Punxsutawney, Linda Holmes of Coldwater, Mississippi, one sister-in-law; Linda Runco of Punxsutawney, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by one brother; Fred Runco.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 PM on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Ss. Cosmas & Damian Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Joseph Riccardo as Celebrant. Tony's friends are invited to attend his memorial celebration along with his family at the church.
