George B. Dickey,76 of Bells Landing, passed away Saturday, May 13,2017 at his home with his family at his side. Born January 15,1941, he was the son of the late George and Virginia (Williams) Dickey. He was married to Patricia (Bennett) Dickey for 51 years who survives at home. Along with his wife Patricia, he is survived by a son; Curtis Dickey and wife Kathy, two grandsons; Brandon and Ryan, seven sisters in law; Jean Young and husband James, Lois Saxe and husband James all of Bells Landing, Kathy Esposti and Debbie Curry both of Mahaffey, Nancy Beatty and husband Merle of Glasgow, VA., Donna Jenkins and husband Scott of Clymer, Kimberly Turner and husband Edward of Mahaffey and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Chris William Dickey. George was employed by Clearfield Cheese, Green Winton Construction Co., Shaw Trucking and Motion Control as an owner-operator truck driver. After his retirement in 2002 he was a Supervisor for Greenwood Twp. George enjoyed the outdoors, taking hunting and fishing trips to Canada and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey. A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, May 17th at the funeral home with Pastor Myron Wattenphul officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
