June Maines, 84 of Curwensville, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family, September 20, 2016.

June was born September 5, 1932 in Clearfield a daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl (Collar) McKeown.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph D. Mains and also her longtime companion of many years, Ken Smith.

She retired from Kent Sportswear after many years.

June is survived by one son; Bruce Mains and companion Virginia Bird of Clearfield, one daughter; W. Ann Maines of Curwensville, two stepsons; Harold "John" Luzier of Osceola Mills, Jerry Luzier of Curwensville, five stepdaughters; Jackie Ford of Indianapolis, IN., Wilma Lee Gavin of Texas, Shelley Aughenbaugh, Deb Luzier of Osceola Mills, Jackie Sanders of Clearfield, four brothers; Willard "Bill" Best, Theodore "Ted" Best and Arnold Best. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Gloria Maines, Christopher Maines and Maxine Maines.

June was preceded in death by one stepdaughter; Debora Greendoner, one brother; Louis "Bud" Best and one sister; Ethel Best.

At June's request all arrangements are private and under the direction of the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey.
