Margaret F. (Rager) Smith, 76 of Latrobe, PA, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Loyalhanna Care Center.

She was the daughter of Harry E. and Frances (Turk) Rager, born on August 24, 1940 in Indiana, PA.

Margaret was a women of God and a member of the Holy Family Church.  She was a devoted volunteer of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many.  She spent her life helping others and was also the founder of “Project Jesus”.  Margaret will be sadly missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by eight children, Raymond Tuttle of OH; Paul Tuttle and wife Barbara of Saltsburg, PA; Frances Stewart and partner Donna of Bradenville, PA; Ronald E. Stewart of NC; Beverly Stewart of Latrobe, PA; Catherine Stiffey and husband Thomas of New Florence, PA; Wendy Stutzman of Avonmore, PA; Christopher Stewart and wife Wendy of Latrobe, PA; two brothers, Harry Rager of Indiana, PA; Troy D. Fello of Greensburg, PA; one sister, Beverly Wiley of Saltsburg, PA; 31 grandchildren, numerous great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth L. Smith “Snuffy”; one son, Richard Tuttle Sr.; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons, one sister and a life long friend, Ada (Skeez) Simms.

The family would like to thank the Loyalhanna Care Center all the Doctors and nurses for all the love and care they gave her.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Ave, Derry where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 10am. Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery, Derry.
