Patsy P. "Blackie" Darazio Jr., 76, of Bradenville passed away peacefully Monday September 18, 2017 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. He was born July 28, 1941 in Bradenville a son of the late Patsy P. Darazio Sr. and Laura Piantine Darazio.

In addition to his parents he was precede in death by his beloved wife Bernadette "Bonnie" Hoover Darazio and a brother Albert Darazio.

Patsy was a member of St. Rose Church. He had worked at Latrobe Die Cast and retired from Value Added Processing. A member of the Derry F.O.E. and the Cooperstown Vets Club he enjoyed tinkering around in his garage, sorting scrap metal , providing Sunday spaghetti sauce and working in his garden that he was most proud of. Blackie was well known for his love of dancing and his smooth moves.

Patsy is survived by his loving children; Pamela Gerusky, Michael P. and Patsy P. Darazio III. Two sisters; Nancy Polo and Donna Gall (Frank), two brothers; Larry Darazio (Sue) and Rick Darazio (Cricket), his grandchildren Thomas Gerusky and his father Mike, Ethan and Roman Darazio and there mother Marnie. Brother and sister in laws Peter and Martha Ryan and Ida Hoover. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a blessing service will be held Friday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
