Paul R. Ray, 80, of Derry, died Sunday October 23, 2016 in the Excela Westmoreland Hospital. He was born May 12, 1936 in Bradenville, a son of the late Paul V. and Jennie Bush Ray.

Paul retired from Derry Westinghouse and spent a lot of his time working with his hands doing woodworking or automotive work. He enjoyed singing, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Donald Ray.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Nancy J. Hoyle Ray. His son Kevin P. Ray (Joseph) of Chicago, IL, his two daughters; Vicki Ray of Greensburg and Sue Zimmerman (Eric) of Derry. A brother J. Wayne Ray (Bonnie) of Derry, 2 grandchildren Breona Reynolds and Krista Zimmerman. Two great grandsons Avi and Monte Reynolds. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted Wednesday at 11am with Reverend Jonathan Fehl officiating.

Interment will follow in the Coles Cemetery.
