Ruth Haux Obituary

Ruth M. Haux, 95 of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Mahoning Riverside Manor . Ruth was born November 25, 1922 in DuBois to the late Oliver and Gracie I. (Pifer) Muth. She was a proud US Navy Veteran where she served for ten years as a Specialist Third Class in Flight Control. Before her enlistment in the armed forces, Ruth was employed as a Filament Welder for Sylvania Electric Co. in Emporium, PA. She was a member of the American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary Post #292 in Albany, CA. As well as the Punxsutawney Eagles. Ruth is survived by her only son; Joseph A. Wallick, Jr. and wife Charlotte of Morro Bay, CA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph A. Wallick, Sr. As well as her second husband Raymond Haux and a brother; John S. Muth.. At Mrs. Haux request there will be no viewing and a private interment will be in Morningside Cemetery, Dubois.
