Thane E. "Bobby" Lucas, 15 of Mahaffey, beloved son of Tad and Chris (Clark) Lucas of Mahaffey, who survive, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at UPMC Altoona.

Thane was born November 15, 2001 in State College.

He was a Junior Firefighter in the Mahaffey Volunteer Fire Department. He loved hunting and fishing, and riding his dirt bike. He was very funny and had a great sense of humor. He loved his pet beagle, Jax, played trombone, and loved baseball. He attended Otterbein Christian Academy. He was a very proud uncle of his best bud nephew, Isaiah.

In addition to his parents; he is survived by four brothers; Ty Lucas and fiancee Alexis Kunselman, Tanner Lucas, Tarak Lucas, and Trey Lucas, all of Mahaffey, four sisters; Tenee Arredondo (Sergio) of Frederick, MD, Toni Lucas of Mahaffey, Tanya Lucas of Mahaffey, and Torrie Lucas of Mahaffey, maternal grandparents; Larry Clark (Nancy) of Everett, paternal grandparents; Dale Lucas (Ruth) of Bellefonte, one great grandma, Anne Swenson, one nephew; Isaiah M. Arredondo, a special friend; Mariah Chambers, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends will be received from 2-8 on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at noon, with Pastors Steve West and Randy Tolley officiating.

Interment will follow at Otterbein Cemetery.
