Virginia A. "Ginger" Marshall, 59 of Mahaffey, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Ginger was born July 6, 1958 in Spangler, a daughter of the late Howard J. and Eleanor (McMasters) Spaid. Ginger worked many years as a CNA at Ridgeview Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center and CRI. She loved reading, knitting and watching the beautiful birds in her backyard. Ginger is survived by her beloved husband Ronald Marshall of Mahaffey, one son; Ronald "RJ" Marshall of Mahaffey, one step Daughter; Tiffany Lachell and husband Peter of Collingswood, NJ.,one sister; Marcia Smith of Mahaffey and one brother; Howard J. Spaid and wife Amy also of Mahaffey. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew; Christina Smith, Candace Kosinski and husband Craig, James Spaid and wife Ashley, Debbie Spaid and great niece and nephew; Aiden Kosinski, Raelyn Spaid, her only surviving aunt, Dorothy Gowin of Mahaffey and many cousins. Friends will be received from 11-3 pm Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Waldron Funeral Home in Mahaffey where a funeral service will be held at 3 pm with Pastor Myron Wattenphul officiating.
