Harold H. Wertheimer of Derry, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019 in Greensburg. He was born August 6, 1947 in Indiana, PA to Charles Sol Wertheimer and Caroline Ruth Foust Wertheimer. He spent his childhood in Indiana, having been orphaned at age 16, he moved to Derry to live with his sister Louise and her family. He graduated from Derry Area High School in 1967. He was predeceased by his parents and brother "Lefty" Wertheimer. He is survived by: two daughters; Amy Wertheimer of Latrobe and Holly Ellenberger of St. Petersburg, Florida and three granddaughters, Ashley Gottron, Lyndsey and Lauren Ellenberger and a great granddaughter Ireland Gottron; He is also survived his sister Louise Jones who Harold considered his guardian angel and his niece and nephew Penny Jones Tennette and Alan Jones who were like siblings to him. Harold loved to flea market and sell items; and he never knew a stranger. He loved vintage cars and was a wealth of knowledge on them! There is no visitation by Harold's wishes. Private interment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Indiana. Arrangements are being handled by the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 West Third Avenue, Derry PA.
