James Carns IV Obituary

James L. Carns IV, 51 of Latrobe died Friday August 9, 2019. He was born December 26, 1967 in Latrobe a son of James L. Carns III and the late Barbara Koptyra Carns.

James was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was a talented painter, nature lover and gun enthusiast. His ornery grin and inappropriate jokes will be missed.

He is survived by his father James L. Carns III and step mother Marlene Carns of Latrobe, his children Kara (Carns) Austin and her husband Justin of Bradenville, Katelyn Carns of Trafford and James L. Carns V of Trafford. A brother C. Michael Carns of Omaha, Nebraska and a sister Terri Lynn Carns of Latrobe. Step brother Shawn Hunter and step sister Dana Coyne. Two grandchildren Trinity Palmer and Scarlett Austin. His K-9 daughter Sophia. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends will be received Monday from 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a blessing service will be conducted at 8pm with Father Salvatore R. Lamendola.
