Catherine "Jean" Horrell

Catherine "Jean" McCabe Horrell, 70, of Derry (Hillside), died Wednesday December 30, 2020 in Excela Latrobe Hospital. She was born November 16, 1950 in Latrobe a daughter of the late Lloyd McCabe and Della Fink Laughrey.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother James McCabe.
Jean had worked at Latrobe Cardiology as a medical assistant. She loved the beach (Myrtle Beach), baking, camping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of of 51 years Cloyd "Corky" Horrell, her children; Sean Horrell (Tina) of Loyalhanna, Chris Horrell (Gretchen) of Mt. Pleasant and Becky Marincheck (Jeff) of Latrobe. Grandchildren; Kayla Horrell (fiance' Brett Cmar), Kiersten Randall (Jordan) and Gavyn Marincheck. Great grandchildren; Emry and Abel Randall. In laws Cloyd Sr. and Waneta Horrell of Derry, a brother Robert McCabe of Bradenville, sisters; Nancy O'Hara (Richard) of Bradenville, Barbara Androstic (Thomas) and Brenda Conrad (Thomas) all of Latrobe. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her step father Jack Laughrey.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-5pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.
Private interment will be made in Unity Cemetery.
