Daniel Timothy (Tim) Maloney, 57, of Pittsburgh died Thursday, January 30, 2020 in Mercy Hospital from complications of lung cancer and pneumonia. Born in Waltham, MA on April 9, 1962, a son of the late Philip W. and Jane L. (Slater) Maloney, he moved with his family to Ligonier, PA when he was quite young. He graduated from Ligonier Valley High School. Tim worked in the construction industry, specializing in finish carpentry. Pastimes included playing cards with his family and friends, pinochle was his favorite game. Tim is survived by three sisters, Phyllis (Karl) Glessner of Rutledge, GA, Martha (David) Boyd of Ligonier, PA, and Rebecca (Dr. Juan) Torres of Winter Garden, FL, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family has requested that all services will be private.
