John Shaler Obituary

John Michael Shaler, 70, of Mammoth, passed away July 27, 2021 at his home. He was born January 20, 1951, a son of the late Robert and Janet (Grooms) Shaler. John was employeed over 30 years as a Registered Nurse. He found great enjoyment in his motorcycle and The Beatles music. He was also an American Civil war enthusiast.
John is survived by his wife Diane, His son Shawn Shaler and wife Chrissy, two grandsons Andrew and Ryan Shaler, three brothers Robert Shaler (Karen), Fred Shaler (Sue), Dave Shaler (Diane), one sister Nancy Shaler and husband Tom Ferree, and several long time friends. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Matt Shaler. Family will receive friends Saturday July 31, from 3 to 5 pm in the McCabe Funeral Home 300 West Third Ave. Derry.
