Loralee Palmer

Loralee Palmer, 83, of Ligonier, died peacefully on April 11, 2023.  She was born June 30, 1939, in New Kensington, a daughter of late Eva Mae and LeRoy Warden.  Beloved wife of 63 years to David Palmer; mother of David (Cindy) Palmer, Dan (Daun) Palmer, Randy (Michelle) Palmer, Jane (Len) Hoch and Jeff (Beth) Palmer; grandma of Jason (Jess) Palmer, Jonathan (Bianca) Palmer, Brandon (Ashley) Palmer, Danielle (Nick) D’Andrea, Lenny (Jessica) Hoch, Anna (Dane) Kitner, Ben (Sarah) Hoch, and Megan, Gracie, Logan, Bella and Gabby Palmer;  great-grandma to Jameson, Jocelyn, Luke, and Ava Palmer, Eleanor Hoch, and Emily Kitner; also survived by her sister Karen (John) Jacobs and sister-in-law Judy Warden. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Loralee was preceded by her brother Tom Warden.

Loralee and David were blessed with a beautiful marriage that was the epitome of true love. She was devoted to her family. She was involved in all her children’s and grandchildren’s activities, and she never missed a chance to be part of their lives. Loralee will be remembered as the matriarch of her family. Her legacy of love and care will live on in her children and grandchildren.  Friends will be received Friday from 5:00-7:00pm at McCabe Funeral Home, 144 East Main Street, Ligonier with a service to follow at 7:00pm.  A private burial will take place at Fort Palmer Cemetery.
