Louise P. Mann

Louise Leor Pleasants Mann, 97, longtime resident of Concordia of Cranberry, formerly of New Alexandria, Forest Hills and Wilkinsburg. Born November 22, 1923 and passed away on March 1, 2021. Louise (called Leor in her childhood) was the daughter of Asa Janney "Jan" and Susie Pleasants of Penn Hills. She was married to the late August "Gus" Mann, who she met and married in the Army in 1944.  She had one younger brother, the late Warren Pleasants, of Penn Hills.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, genealogy, archeology and her family.    She was the mother of David (late Rose) of Forest Hills; Donald (Liz)of Butlerville, IN; Richard (Barb) of Punta Gorda, FL and Sue Breedlove (Mark) of Mars.  Grandmother of Michael, Katie Doring (Jason); Herbie (Karen), Monica, Ben, Doug; Ryan Bough (Jess); Meghan Morris (Ed), Sarah Jackson (Keith) Laura Cramp (Jeff) and 9 great grandchildren (Natalie, Anna, Eli, Dylan, Declan, Lincoln, Gus, Amelia and Oliver). Many thanks to her loving "family" of staff and residents of Concordia of Cranberry, especially over the last year.  Arrangements made through McCabe Funeral Home. No public services.  In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in Louise's name to Concordia Lutheran Ministries Benevolent Care Fund at 10 Adams Ridge Blvd, Mars, PA  16046.
