Richard Cairns Obituary

Richard F. Cairns, 62, of Blairsville, died Friday November 11, 2022 at UPMC-East in Monroeville. He was born March 29, 1960 a son of the late Dick and Marlene Smith Cairns.
Rick was a 1978 graduate of Ligonier Valley High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a
Mechanical Engineering Degree. He obtained his professional engineering license and worked for 35 years in various industries. Rick was a Bible believing Christian for most of his life and was looking forward to meeting with family and friends in heaven.
He is survived by his former wife Joni Solomon Cairns, his two sons; Jeremiah and Luke Cairns, two brothers; Gary (Darla) and Marty , his sister Kacy, extended family and friends.
Friends will be received Wednesday from 11am-1pm at the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry where a service will be conducted at 1pm.
Inurnment will be made in the Stahlstown Cemetery.
