When I heard of Shorty's passing numerous strange & funny incidents that we investigated together during our police careers immediately came to mind. Shorty was a great friend & coworker and a wonderful human being. I still have the framed print of his famous PSP saying that he presented me at my retirement party hanging on my wall.
